FAQ

What are the flowers made from?

Our flowers are made from the pulp of tapioca trees, also known as Balsa wood. They are lightweight and sometimes contain small holes or small brown spots that are pieces of the bark from the tree.

These imperfections will not take away from the overall look of the bouquet. Since each flower is handmade by a crafter, each one is a unique piece of art that will vary slightly in appearance.

What if my order arrives damaged?

We take extra care when packaging your order to ensure your flowers reach you safe and beautiful.

This includes bubble wrapping each item and using air pockets.

If your order is damaged during shipment,  please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the package with photos of the damage. We will work to file an insurance claim and will replace the damaged items. Please note that small chips in the flowers, that do not take away from the overall look of the bouquet, are not considered damage. Just as real flowers, wooden flowers can also have small imperfections.

When can I expect my flowers?

We work through orders by the date requested on your bridal questionnaire.

Please consider bridal portraits when filling in the date needed on this form.

Do you accept returns/exchanges?

Due to the custom nature of the product, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.

What shipping method do you use?

We ship USPS and UPS.

Do you accept cancellations?

Deposits are non-refundable after 30 days. If we have not began working on your order AFTER the 30 days, we’d be happy to cancel it and issue a refund in the form of store credit. However, if production of your order has already began, we cannot cancel the order.

How do I care for my flowers?

When you receive your flowers, we recommend carefully unwrapping and removing each item from the box. Bouquets do best if stored upright in a vase or container to prevent any flat spots from occurring.

To preserve the life of your flowers, store them in a cool, dry place. Keep them away from areas with excessive moisture and out of direct sunlight, to preserve the color of your flowers.

If you notice your flowers looking dusty, simply use a hairdryer on low setting to “dust” them

Will I receive proof pictures before I receive my flowers?

Yes, all custom orders will receive a few approval pictures once assembled.

Can I make changes to my custom order after receiving my proof photos?

Once the proof photos have been sent, you can make the following changes at no additional charge: add/remove a color already in the bouquet and add/remove a filler already in the bouquet. If upgrading to a premium filler, an additional 20% fee will apply.

Can I receive my order faster?

Yes! Our rush fee is 25% of your total purchase. Since we require six weeks for an entire wedding package and three weeks for a single bouquet, a 25% rush charge will automatically be added to these orders.

Do you offer consultations?

Yes! We offer FREE in person consultations to brides wishing to discuss their flower needs in detail.

This is also a great time for you to see samples of our work in person. For a consultation, simply message us through our contact form.

Do you have a storefront?

No, we are currently an online only shop. We hope to open a brick and mortar shop for our growing business soon.

Can I pick up my flowers to save on shipping?

Yes. If you’re local to the Upstate of SC, we’d be happy to meet you for pick up.

Do you offer packages?

Currently we do not offer any packages. We are in the process of adding those to our website soon.

How do I get a quote?

Simply fill out the bridal form under the “Brides” tab on our website.

Please either link your Pinterest board or upload a few inspirational pictures for us to gauge your style. Once we have received it, we’ll get you a custom quote.

Do you have a minimum spend?

Yes, we have a low minimum spend of  $500 per wedding. Most of our clients have budgets that double or even triple the minimum spend as flowers are a huge decor priority for them.

Why do you have a minimum spend?

For our floral studio it all comes down to quality + customer service. Having a minimum spend allows us to provide better customer service to you, our clients. It allows us to give more attention to detail to our clients and allows us more time to fill their orders and design the beautiful floral designs we are known for and that our clients love!
